A fresh start. Patty Anker thought she knew all about them. As a courage coach, she's helped thousands face their fears of everything from decluttering to public speaking to swimming. "I'm a pro at getting people outside comfort zones and into new and bigger lives," she says. But it wasn't until she moved from the house where she'd raised her children for 13 years that she felt real fear...of change, and the unknown.

"Moving's a three-ring circus. You have to find a new home, let go of your old one, and start over in a different community. There are so many decisions and for those of us with a fear of making the wrong decision, well, we need all the help we can get," she says. "I became a real estate agent to help with the biggest fresh start we can make: changing where we wake up every day."

Patty is a full-time realtor, and an indomitable advocate for clients. As a seasoned public relations executive she expertly applies technology, social media and people skills to maximize opportunities in today's market. Her personal network extends nationwide (her book, Some Nerve: Lessons Learned While Becoming Brave, was recommended by Oprah's Book Club 2.0 and she has worked for major publishers including The New York Times) and she advises and refers real estate clients internationally.

But her heart resides in Westchester NY, where she lives with her husband and two children. A triathlete, she's swum in the Hudson River and the Sound, biked the North and South County Trails, and run more beautiful backroads than Strava can count. Ask her about local hiking trails, dog parks, yoga classes, gyms, wine stores, bookstores, toy stores, thrift shops and dim sum. "Moving was so worth it," she says, from Pleasantville Bakery where she gets "Welcome Home" cakes for move-in day. She loves Westchester and looks forward to sharing its beauty with you.
